| Job Description: |
To assemble machined cylinder components using blue prints, hand tools, and assembly vises. Ensuring our assembled hydraulic cylinders meet or exceed our Customers’ expectations.

| Job/Education Requirements: |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
1. Checks Blue Print to determine required assembly, any special procedures for assembly of cylinders.
2. Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of parts and fasteners for the particular run.
3. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit. fasting parts, and sub- assemblies, per customer order.
4. Identify and resolve any issues with assembly and machining by reporting to Supervisor for assistance.
5. At end of run claims parts, contact expeditor, clear unused items, and prepare for next run.
6. Follows all company policy’s and safety rules while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
7. Limits waste of materials and supplies.
8. Perform other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in assembly of cylinders
2. Dexterity and preciseness required to operate assembly vises, hand tools, and stamping equipment.
3. Considerable mental and visual effort.
4. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
5. High School or equivalent school education.
6. Have the ability to fulfill job duties, training and performance requirements as defined in Company & Quality Assurance policy, training, and procedures.
PYHSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Ability to Stand for extended periods of time.
2. Ability to lift 25lbs. frequently and up to 75lbs. occasionally.
3. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending
4. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work
